When are Two Way Radios Useful?
When driving in a party, you will find that a two way radio is useful. It is not hard to lose someone on route, and this way you do not have to pull over to make a call, and even if you wanted to this is not always possible especially on the motorway, so you would be able to communicate with the other person before the distance between you becomes a problem.
The fact they use standard batteries is also a plus, if you compare it to the fact you would have to recharge a mobile phone. This could mean the difference between life or death if you were lost or hurt while out walking, as all you would need to do is carry extra batteries which do not weigh much or take up much room, so you will be able to stay in touch until someone arrives who can help.
