For many years it has been a standard to have kitchen sinks made out of some kind of metal. Some have used a mixture of metals while some have used the finer metals such as stainless steel and copper. The benefits of using these sinks are many but one f the most obvious is that they are durable. When you throw pot and pans into them (even hard) they won’t take much notice. If you choose to avoid metal and go for a ceramic kitchen sink, then you will need to be more careful. The producers of these ceramic sinks have naturally done their best to harden them in order for them to resist pots and pans being thrown at them but you will still experience that it might crack if you hit it too hard. That would never happen with a sink made in metal.
