The Home Improvement industry has rapidly expanded in the last decade, right along with the “housing bubble”, as consumers sought to increase the value of their own homes, or to buy up lesser valued homes, make the needed improvements, then “flip” the mortgage onto another buyer at a handsome profit. During the last decade, banks were offering not only more home purchase loans, but loans geared to home improvement as well. Many home improvement companies came into existence to meet the growing demand, and rake in the growing revenue.
