Enjoy NASCAR in Charlotte
Since Charlotte is sometimes called the “home of NASCAR” you can imagine there would be plenty of race activities throughout the year in the vicinity. One of the more unique events takes place each October at the Lowe’s Motor Speedway in Charlotte, called the NASCAR Banking 500. What makes this particular even unique is it’s scheduling, on a Saturday night. In fact, it is the only Saturday evening race scheduled in the entire NASCAR calendar that will count towards the Sprint Cup Championship.
The Lowe’s Motor Speedway is located very close to most Charlotte resorts and hotels, and is within easy driving distance from the Charlotte airport. Adult tickets for the NASCAR Banking 500 range in price from $49 to $135, while children can get tickets for as low as $10.
