Sometimes it is a thoughtful idea to buy someone in your office a gift for their birthday, Christmas or even to say thank you. That person might have helped you out with some work assignments or was the one that helped you fit into the office when you first started. This is because we often do not know what our colleague’s interests or hobbies are and these are the aspects that gifts are generally based on. If this is the case, try finding out the person’s interests by disguising questions in general conversation. Alternatively, a great business gift idea is something that is used in the office such as a pen or coffee mug.
