Credit Quick Fix!
Did you know that you can begin the credit restoration process in just a few hours?
No, it isn’t a crazy scam! Very often, credit card companies will report your credit limit incorrectly. Perhaps you got an increase in credit line or maybe they have never reported your credit limit as higher than what you have owed on the account. Whatever the reason, a credit limit reporting too low can really drag down your credit score.
The reason for this is that a large part of your score is determined by how much you owe on your credit cards versus your total limits. Having maxed out credit cards can lower your score by 60 points or more.
The first step to rectifying this situation is to call your credit card company. Let them know of the error and ask them to correct it. If they are agreeable, this may be all you have to do. If, after speaking to them, you don’t feel comfortable that they are going to do what it takes to rectify the situation, you can simply dispute the account with all three credit bureaus. All you will need to do is state that the account limit is reporting incorrectly. (Include a statement that reflects your credit limit if you can.)
You will be surprised at how something so simple can raise your credit score!
