As an experienced coffee drinker you will probably want to splurge on the best coffee grinder money could buy. Many experts will tell you that the secret of the best coffee grinder lies in its grinding mechanism. The Burr grinder could be safely labeled the mother of all grinders!

By definition, the process of preparing the best coffee involves turning the premium quality roasted coffee beans into ‘grounds’, and in doing so releasing all the aromas and volatile oils that the beans are endowed with. Well, using the Burr mechanism is the only way to truly grind the beans.

Let me elaborate on that thought for a minute. The Burr coffee grinder crushes the beans between either two moving plates, or a stationary surface and a moving wheel. This is in fact similar to grain burr grinders that grind wheat into flour.

On the other hand, a coffee grinder with a rotating blade will simply cut up, or finely chop beans. Not truly ‘ground’ coffee is it? If you are inclined to think that this is a minor matter, I invite you to undertake the frustrating experience of attempting to chop up chocolate chips with a food processor. The resulting mess in not a pretty sight. It is a mixture of various sizes and consistencies. Well, this is what happens when you grind your coffee beans with a blade-containing coffee grinder. You end up with a mixture of various sizes of beans, some even ground up very finely into a powder-like consistency. If you have invested in a top-notch espresso machine, this powder will be very troublesome, clogging your machine repeatedly.

So, if you have gone the extra mile and bought a high-end device, why not get the best one that money can buy? I guarantee you will not be disappointed with your burr coffee grinder when it comes time to enjoy the end product.

A lot of people have been asking about NextGen EMR and what exactly it is and means. The answer is actually quite simple. NextGen EMR is just an electronic medical record (EMR) created by the NextGen software system. You may be thinking that electronic records are just a convenient buzz word for the 21st century, but the possibilities that come along with NextGen EMR are really amazing.

Understanding How NextGen EMR Templates Work

For example, think about the last time you went to a doctor’s office. The doctor probably had to spend a few minutes just locating the paper file that all of your information is in, and then after you left had to spend an extra few minutes updating the chart. If you had a prescription prescribed, a paper copy had to be made so you could go into the pharmacy and get it filled. Right now, medicine is a slow process because it is bogged down with all of the physical details. With NextGen EMR the doctor can pull up your file electronically, no need for bulky filing cabinets with complicated systems that nobody can understand. That hard copy of the prescription your doctor filled out? It is gone; he or she can send an electronic notice to your pharmacy to get your prescription filled. This speeds up your visit, allows the doctor to see more patients, and reduces errors in prescriptions because not even the pharmacist can read that doctor’s handwriting.

This is just scratching the surface of what a NextGen EMR can do for a doctor’s office. The NextGen EMR software can really revolutionize the practice of medicine by changing how doctors do business. From the actual business side of medicine with payments and insurance, to how doctors actually care for patients, there is nothing that NextGen EMR won’t be able to help with and make more efficient.

Losing a loved one can be a very traumatic experience. However, losing a family member because of negligence can add even more emotional distress to an already bad situation. So called wrongful death settlements are often awarded in cases such as these. Other typical examples include situations where a person died because of an asbestos induced health condition, such as mesothelioma or lung cancer.

Before accepting a settlement there are some guidelines you should know that may help in your decision-making.

Structured settlements are usually offered in one of two ways, structured settlements and lump sums. A lump some is exactly how it sounds, you will receive a check for one large amount. A structured settlement on the other hand will be made in payments over time. Your lawyer will be able to help you determine which option would be the best for your situation. It is nice to get all the money up front in one large sum; however, lump sum offers are usually lower than the structured settlement. It may be wise to take the structured settlement since you will be receiving more in the long run.

Another thing to consider when receiving a wrongful death settlement is taxes. The IRS does not consider death settlements as taxable income. However, a death settlement will be included in the estate of the deceased and this money in conjunction with other assets they already own may push the value of the estate over the exempt amount. It is always wise to consult with CPAs and tax lawyers to determine tax liability of the settlement.

If you accept a structured settlement and later change your mind and would rather have a lump sum, there are companies that will buy these settlements from you. These companies will offer you a cash price for your settlement payments. This will be an amount significantly under what is left of the settlement payments. They are in effect buying your long-term payments with a profit margin built-in. These may not be the best deals; however, if the money is needed immediately it may be your only option.

Receiving a wrongful death settlement can often times be a mixed blessing. Receiving a large sum of money because of the death of your loved one can be confusing to your emotions. It may be hard to enjoy this new found money because of how it was received. One thing that may be able to relieve some of the pressure is to use a portion of the proceeds to honor your loved one. This may be starting a scholarship at a local school in their name or a donation with their name attached to a local organization.

Yard sales are a great way to make money while getting rid of stuff. You can make cash by selling the things you don’t want anymore. There are a few reasons why choosing a yard sale isn’t a good idea.

First of all, if you don’t have a lot of stuff and all you have is complete junk, it’s not a good idea to have a yard sale. Most likely, nobody will buy anything and you will have wasted an entire day.

Another reason not to have a yard sale is because the items you have are worth a lot of money. In this case, you probably won’t get all the money that you should for what you are selling. In this case, you should try selling high value items to an antique dealer or on eBay. You’ll probably make the most on eBay if you’re a good seller.

C’mon now, you know you have one, we all know. There are people we look up to every day in our life. Some because we have to, and some because we choose to. They can be people in positions in authority above us, or even peers and subordinates. Teachers, managers, parents, brothers, sisters, priests, athletes and yes, even some movie stars. They however aren’t a whole lot in that category I can think of at the moment. Most of my heroes tend to be real life ordinary people I know on a daily basis. Some I see a lot, and some I don’t see very much at all. You can be a hero for a lot of reasons. Some grand, and some just for showing up every day, and doing the right thing for those around you.

If you have any broken gold jewelry lying around in your jewelry box, you should do 1 of 2 things: either repair it (duh) or sell it for cash. Now whether the broken jewelry is valuable will probably play a part in if you want to have it repaired or not. The value of the jewelry may be in more ways than monetary. It may hold some sentimental value to you. An inexpensive piece of used jewelry that you received from your child for Mother’s Day will probably be more valuable to you than a solid gold necklace that you purchased on sale years ago. A piece of jewelry like that probably won’t sell for much anyway since its gold content will be low.

But on the other hand if you don’t want to go through the trouble of repairing it, you can just sell it. Many people that don’t know how to repair jewelry prefer to get cash for gold pieces that are broken. Choosing to sell gold jewelry is an option many are choosing to do rather than attempt to fix the pieces. It’s also the way to go for old pieces of jewelry that you never wear anymore like class rings.

Sometimes you need money fast. There are things that come up when you only have a limited amount of time to get the funds. Fortunately, there are a few money making ideas you can do to make money in the short term.

All you have to do is find someone who needs help or to have something done and is willing to pay you for it, offer to do it for them for payment in return. For example, you could clean someone’s house for payment. You could mow someone’s lawn for payment. You could babysit someone’s kids for payment. There are all sorts of ideas available out there.

What’s great about this is that you can usually get paid immediately for your work. These mean earning money in the short term and actually getting paid right away. That is what short term money making is all about!

When you choose an optional adjustable-rate mortgage that automatically comes with four different methods of payment every month, minimum payment is one of them. Each adjustment this rate can change, but the cap prevents it from changing an excessive amount. Almost all option ARMs have a 7.5% that is generally used, meaning that the minimum payment cannot decrease or increase higher on any Payment Change Date that occurs. Some loans are also very beneficial to the investor by leaving no cap on the decrease of minimum payment but keeping the maximum increase at 7.5% therefore you can get lucky with declining interest rates and save a good amount of money. Along with all of the other mortgage terms, the minimum payment change cap can be quite confusing, but hopefully you aren’t taking notice to the minimum payment in your option ARM because it will often lead you with lots of excessive balance. Take a look at Portland Mortgages to find interesting facts, information, and more about mortgage.

This is my favorite tool to access the secret law of attraction. In fact, I like it better than the traditional “vision board” for the following reasons:

It is portable. I can take it with me anywhere.

It is multifunctional. I can do gratitude exercises, write and read my affirmations, write and read my visualization paragraphs, paste and review inspiring pictures, symbols and words.

It provides a record of my success. As I achieve my conscious creation goals, the journal is a reminder of my personal development and personal growth. I can see that manifesting abundance actually works.

It is private. I can close it up and put it away. I can share it with everyone or I can share it with no one. This is useful if I find myself in an environment with people who like to “rain on my parade.”

Your gratitude journal can be made from something as simple as a spiral notebook to an ornate handmade leather journal. Regardless of what you use to set up your gratitude journal, start one today. It is a great tool to jump start your law of attraction efforts.

No, this is about my beautiful French fireplace screen I bought on my trip to New Orleans. It was my pride and joy and gave my living room a subtle yet unique look. Buddy is a black lab. He is a great dog, and I love him dearly, even more than my nice French screen. Which is a good thing since Buddy liked the screen so much, he decided to eat it. I guess 20 pounds of dog food a week wasn’t enough. He needed a 3 pound decorative screen for desert. So that is why I get to choose a new screen. This time I think I will go for something a little more low key, like a 3 panel mesh screen with a brushed nickel design on the front.
