A Passive Income Stream with Vending
Vending is billed as a great way to make a passive income and it is – to a point. For one thing, it’s not entirely passive, you will still have to either work the route yourself or hire someone to do it for you. And no matter how good your locations are, you will still need to replace about 5% of your locations per year. If you have a route of 400 machines this means you will need to replace at least 20 locations a year, this is about 2 locations a month. The locating and moving of vending machines is a big hassle but it’s just part of the normal day to day operations of running a vending route. A lot of people get into vending thinking it’s going to be easy and it’s just not.
