A Consumer Review of MAC Cosmetics
MAC Cosmetics is one of the major cosmetics brands on the market. If you go to a department store like Nordstrom or Bloomingdales, you’ll most likely find a MAC Cosmetics makeup counter where you can try out almost every MAC product available. Here are a few reviews on some of our most recommended products:
Studio Tech Foundation: This foundation offers a bit more coverage than MAC’s well known Studio Fix Foundation. It is a great product for photo shoots, weddings or other occasions where you need a good amount of coverage, but you don’t want to look like you’re wearing tons of foundation.
Pigment: MAC’s Pigment is a fan favorite. The product is so much fun because it’s versatile. You can use the pigments in just about any other makeup product. They are multi use and can be used on your collarbone, shoulders, body, eyes, lips, cheeks or all over the face. Most people use them as an eyeshadow. They come in a variety of finishes but generally, they provide quite a bit of shimmer, so they’re especially great for special occasion makeup looks.
Eye Kohl: The Eye Kohls are a rich, charcoal-ish eye liner that provide a deep, smoldering eye liner look. If you’re a fan of the smokey eye makeup look, this product is to die for. You’ll be able to apply the liner and get the smokey eye smudge with little effort. The liner blends really well, and comes in a bunch of different shades, not just black. You can try greys, chocolate browns, taupes, plums, and other deep colors.
Plushglass: This is probably one of our most loved products. This gloss plumps your lips as it shines. The texture is undeniably amazing and cushy. The shades are great – although we definitely wouldn’t mind if they came out with more shades. We’d be in line at the MAC counter ready to buy every single one of them if they did!
